Provide necessary management reports in order to assure compliance with the corporate quality department and regulatory requirements. 
Keeps up to date with regulatory requirements to effectively direct and administer the quality program within the plant.  This position will also be given training in methods analyst role which is responsible for creating accurate manufacturing sequences whereby raw materials and assemblies are processed into quality finished products using the most economical and efficient means. Reviews prints and bill of material requirements of items to be manufactured and determines the process plan, methods, procedures, tooling, etc. required.

  THE CANDIDATE:

Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering or related discipline. 
Detailed Knowledge of manufacturing processes  
 Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications 
Extensive knowledge and understanding of operating and programming Mazatrol machine controls. 
Computer literate 
Good communication skills

Key Accountabilities
- Supervise the day to day activities of the kitchen operations in accordance with service specifications in order to meet &amp; exceed customer expectations.
- Support the effective management of resources to ensure that service delivery costs are in line with budget.
- Assist in recruitment, performance management and development of quality staff to ensure required skilled staff are available to fulfil contract and service specifications.

Qualifications and requirements

- City in Guilds Professional Cookery 147 or 150 or equivalent.
- Intermediate certificate or diploma in Food Hygiene.
- City in Guilds Professional Cookery 151 or equivalent.

- Experience working in a hospitality environment or similar environment
- Experience of sous chef or banqueting chef role.
- Busy kitchen experience
- Experience in staff management.
